Welcome!

You are here for a reason, you want a better relationship with your dog! You have taken the first step by finding a trainer that suits your needs. My name is Teresa, the owner of Dogs in Training Inc.. I train dogs, and their people, foundation obedience commands and behavior modification. The commands are used in everyday life and opens the door to an amazing connection between you and your dog. With command training, your dog learns to THINK instead of REACT. I’m certain your dog loves you but, does he respect you? With training, he learns to trust, respect and listen to you. If your dog is anxious, nervous, high energy, jumping, nipping, bad mannered and out of control, I can help. If you just want them to walk nice on a leash or have a few bad habits you would like to curb, training makes a big impact.

Dog Best Friends

What you need to do: Be willing to put in some work to create the dog you want . Dogs need practice to ingrain these new good behaviors. Practicing any task will ultimately make you better, faster, more responsive to doing that task. It takes time and patience to create a well-behaved pup. If you don’t change your bad habits, neither will the dog. Consistency and accountability are key to making this change moving forward.

The first step: Please read about our training packages below. Then fill out a training request so I can learn all about you and your pup. I will give you a call to discuss available dates for training.

Behavioral challenges to be discussed

3 week Board and Train    $1400
Some behavioral challenges take longer to train. Dogs with high anxiety, very nervous, bite history or lack of socialization need longer to decompress before training. MOST dogs do NOT need this amount of time for basic commands or to train them out of a few bad behaviors. The owner will need to learn new handling procedures. Training on and off premises.Challenges to be discussed.
